historical road
The Historical Road is a history walking course related to the Tenpyo era, which was established by Nara City in 1972 and has a total length of 27km around Nara City. Saidaiji Temple and Saidaiji Hachiman Shrine are located on the course. Go around the city of Nara, where the Tenpyo culture is studded, and think about it in the past.

If you come by train
Get off at the South Exit of Kintetsu “Yamato-Saidaiji Station” and walk for about 10 minutes. It is about a 10-minute walk from the South Exit of Kintetsu “Yamato-Saidaiji Station”. If you go west on the road on the south side of the precincts of Saidaiji Temple (the road in front of the south gate of Saidaiji Temple), you will see the torii gate. Please proceed as it is.
If you come by car
Daini Hanna Toll Road 3km from Horai Ramp There is a parking lot at the southeast corner of Saidaiji Temple, 8km from the Koriyama IC on the Nishi Meihan Expressway. (Paid)
